Podfic Critical Feedback Exchange - reading by Blacksquirrel
Hi! Although I'm pretty new to audiobooks/podfics I decided that I wanted to participate in the Podfic Critical Feedback Exchange and see if I can be of some help to a reader.
I LOVE to read. I read a ton of fic and the idea that I could just listen to it was something that sounded like it might be a good idea but the couple of professional audiobooks I tried listening to a few years ago left me pretty uninterested. I found that my attention wandered when I listened and the voice of the reader was more of a distraction to me back then.
I've seen podfic posted around comms and never really felt the need to listen until a good friend said that she was going to be recording a podfic. I listened at first because she's my friend but I found that I was drawn into the story and really enjoyed her reading! It made me want to listen to more and I've listened to one other podfic and I feel like I'm much more open to listening now than I was before. As a matter of fact, the fantastic Recathon that has been going on has given me a bunch of fic links I look forward to checking out!
So, with this limited experience, here's my concrit for:
